Yellow Pages Hell on Wheels Cycle Tour 8-15 October

September 5th, 2011

The riders are registered and ready to go; the route is planned, support teams are in place and the accommodation is booked!

All is in place for the start of the Yellow Pages Hell on Wheels Cycle Tour, 600 grueling kilometers of mountain bike trails over 8 days from 8-15 October, 2011.

Now it’s up to the community to get behind the riders and support them and your community helicopter.

Summary: Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was tasked to airlift a patient from Grafton Hospital to Tweed Heads Hospital. Due to approaching thunderstorms the aircraft was repositioned to Coffs Harbour. However the aircraft experienced a default and was flown back to the Lismore Base. With thunderstorms still active before repair was completed, the patient was transported by road to.
