Primary – Boonoo Boonoo Falls

Sunday, March 1st, 2009

Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was tasked to the top of the Boonoo Boonoo Falls, north west of Drake, to airlift a German tourist in her mid twenties back to Lismore Base Hospital. The patient sustained a large laceration to her head after diving into one of the rock pools.

Secondary – Inter Hospital Transfer

Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter transferred a male patient from Lismore Base Hospital to Gold Coast Hospital for further treatment.

Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was tasked to Kyogle hospital to retrieve a 16 year old male with a heart condition. The patient was transferred to Lismore Base Hospital in a serious condition.

Primary – Barretts Creek

Tuesday, February 24th, 2009

Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was tasked to a property at Barretts Creek, west of Maclean, to retrieve an adult male with a heart condition. The man was stabilized at the scene and flown back to Lismore Base Hospital for further treatment.

Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was tasked to a property at Barretts Creek for a male patient suffering from a heart condition. The patient was stabilised at the scene and flown back to Lismore Base Hospital for further treatment.

Primary – Minyon Falls

Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was tasked to a land search at Minyon Falls following reports of a person seen jumping from the top platform. The rescue helicopter conducted an aerial search of the area to assist Police ground crews.

Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was called to Evans Head following reports of an overturned boat. Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was advised en route that the two occupants of the overturned boat had been retrieved by a private vessel. Helicopter paramedics assessed the two middle aged men at the boat ramp, treating them for minor scratches.

A seven year old girl was transported by Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter to Royal Brisbane Hospital in a stable condition after suffering burns to the hand.

Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was tasked to a bobcat accident in Tenterfield. En route the patient was transported by road to Tenterfield Hospital. The patient was then airlifted by Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter from Tenterfield Hospital to Lismore Base Hospital in a serious condition suffering multiple crush injuries.
