How to hold an Event

If you are thinking about holding a fundraising event then you should speak to a member of our Marketing team. Once the idea is developed, an “Authority to Fundraise” application from will need to be completed and once approved you will receive a letter from the Service that authorises you to raise money under certain conditions. The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service operates its fundraising activities under the auspices of the NSW Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing. It is registered with the Office and has a “Charitable Fundraising Authority” CFN 11992. As such all its fundraising activities must comply with the legislation and guidelines developed by the Office, a copy of which can be found at the following link:
